Under the directives of the Chairman of the Municipality Committee of Umm ar-Rasas, Mr. Adel Al-Janadbah, the Local Development Unit at the municipality carried out a distinguished artistic activity today, which involved coloring drawings. The activity targeted primary school students from Umm ar-Rasas Secondary School for Girls, as part of introducing students to the municipal library and strengthening their connection to it as a cultural and knowledge center.
This activity comes within the municipality’s efforts to develop creativity and enhance children’s artistic expression skills, where students were given the opportunity to express their talents and ideas in a way that reflects their positive energy and stimulates their creative abilities.
The activity also included an educational field tour for the students at the Umm ar-Rasas Archaeological Site, in addition to a guided tour inside the municipal building, aiming to raise their awareness of historical sites and the services provided to the local community.
The event concluded with honoring the school principal and the participating teachers in appreciation of their significant efforts in the success of the activity, and in affirmation of the municipality’s approach to continuing the implementation of quality programs targeting various age groups in the community.
